My name is Corin W. Davis, and I am a theatrical designer and scenic artist from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Coming fresh out of Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS with a B.A. in communications with an emphasis in theatre, I have had the opportunity to design in different fields, such as scenic, costume, props and lighting for multiple mainstage shows. From painting to carpentry, sculpting to puppetry, I strive to be a multifaceted designer and a jack-of-all-trades scenic artist. I am in love with the collaboration that stems from the artistic process, and I seek to fine tune my skills and learn all that there is to offer. I’ve worked with companies such as Carey Dinner Theatre, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and most recently, Creede Repertory Theatre. Some of my favorite projects I’ve worked on include Puffs, Once on this Island, Mountain Octopus, and Clue: On Stage.
